It’s becoming a bit of a tradition here at the Horton Hotel & Rooftop Lounge to host our very own grown up slumber party. We did it last year and had an absolute blast. So many locals came out, and it really was a special and fun time. Naturally, we’re doing it again this year. Here are five reasons why you should consider coming to our slumber party. What’s a Horton Slumber Party?
For those of you wondering what on earth I’m talking about, we did host a grown up slumber party last year and had a great turn out! Our next one is coming up on the night of January 30th. We’re offering special rates for this party. Book a standard room for $120, or a suite for $200. Think classic ‘80s slumber party. We’re going to have the best throwback tunes you can imagine, we’ll likely be showing some classic films in the lounge, and we’ll have all the nostalgic drink specials and candy you can think of. Show off your most wacky pajamas.
Perhaps the best part about a slumber party is having the chance to show off those wacky and fabulous jammies that you love putting on every night. You know the ones. Or maybe you use the slumber party as an excuse to buy yourself a cute new set. Regardless, don’t forget to pack your slippers. We’re even thinking about having a best dressed contest this year, so show us what you’ve got!
And cozy up in one of our robes.
Layer up. Throw on one of our plush robes over your jammies to keep you warm. A robe will be the best possible compliment for your slumber party attire. Best part? They have hoods.
Pillow fight!
You can use our extra fluffy pillows for a pillow fight. Or you can use them to build your very own pillow fort. Don’t worry, your fort will be structurally sound because we’ve got a great mix of soft and firm pillows to ensure that we meet all of your pillow needs.
Epic slumber party games.
What was your favorite slumber party game as a kid? It’s hard for me to say. But if I had to pick one, it’d be mad libs! Come to the Horton Slumber Party and laugh till you cry when we bust out these classic silly stories.
Stargaze by the fire.
Make sure to tie that robe up tight. Maybe even wrap up in a blanket or two. Head to our rooftop, turn on the fire sphere, and gaze up at the stars with a group of your closest friends. On a more serious note, we never seem to slow down enough as adults. Remember how you always used to make time to gaze up at the night sky when you were younger? Slow down a little, laugh a lot, and embrace your inner kid at our slumber party.
